Syracuse Basketball: SU takes care of Wisconsin and awaits OSU next
It had been since SU had won the title that the squad had advanced past the Sweet Sixteen, but last night with top seed Syracuse (34-2 ~ 17-1 in the Big East) taking down No. 4 Wisconsin (26-10 ~ 12-6 in the Big Ten) by the final of 64-63, the Orange did just that, breaking a three game losing streak in the third round. Syracuse looks to senior Kris Joseph to lead
When Syracuse takes the floor on Thursday against UNC Asheville in the NCAA tournament, the Orange, the top seed in the East, will be looking to senior Kris Joseph to set the tone for the team.
Joseph, a 6-foot-7 small forward, leads Syracuse in scoring, averaging 13.8 points and nearly five rebounds, and is tied for second on the team in steals with guard Scoop Jardine (46).

Boeheim has to work OT for milestone
Kris Joseph scored a career-high 29 points, hitting a go-ahead 3-pointer in the final minute of overtime, and No. 2 Syracuse beat 12th-ranked Georgetown 64-61 on Wednesday night to give coach Jim Boeheim his 880th career win.

Kris Joseph scored 22 points and No. 1 Syracuse used its defense and depth to rout DePaul 87-68 on Sunday, the unbeaten Orange's 15th straight victory.
