Michael Lyons led four Air Force players in double figures with a game-high 19 points, including a career-high 12 from the free-throw line, and the Falcons defeated Army 76-65 Saturday in Charleston, S.C., the season opener for both teams.

Michael Lyons scored 27 points and Air Force upset No. 13 San Diego State 58-56 on Saturday when Xavier Thames' off-balance 3-pointer fell short at the buzzer.
