ESPN.com’s Andy Katz is reporting that IU freshmen Hanner Mosquera-Perea and Peter Jurkin won an appeal that will allow them to travel to Brooklyn for Indiana’s games on Monday and Tuesday in the Barclays Center, but neither player will be in uniform.

The NCAA’s Suspensions Of Two Indiana Basketball Players Is Kind Of Crazy
Two freshmen on Indiana’s #1 ranked basketball team, 6’8″ forward Hanner Mosquera-Perea and 7’0″ center Peter Jurkin, have each been suspended nine games by the NCAA. Why? Their former AAU coach/legal guardian donated $185 to Indiana 20 years ago, and apparently the NCAA counts that as receiving impermissible benefits. I’m not joking.
