Minnesota's second-round draft pick Robbie Hummel says he will play in Europe rather than the NBA next season.
Hummel tells the Lafayette Journal and Courier he has agreed to a deal with El Obradoiro, which plays in Spain's top professional league.

Some Michigan State fans in the Izzone section taunted Purdue’s Robbie Hummel by telling him to tear his ACL again. This incident lead to a bit of an altercation with Matt Painter, the Purdue head coach.

Hummel strong in return for Purdue
Robbie Hummel scored 18 points to help Purdue beat Northern State 78-46 in the Boilermakers' exhibition opener Tuesday night.
