Robert Brown pulled up for a little 10-foot bank shot that wasn't even close, the ball clanking off the side of the rim as his shoulders slumped. Virginia Tech hustled for the offensive rebound, setting up Erick Green for a drive to the hoop.

Big Ten says official missed call at Minnesota
The Big Ten says it has disciplined an official for ''misapplying a rule'' at a key point in the final seconds of the Virginia Tech-Minnesota game in the Big Ten-ACC Challenge.
