With the Buckeyes putting the full-court press on the Nittany Lions, OSU’s Sam Thompson tipped the inbounds pass in the air and somehow, the ball managed to go off the backboard and into the hoop for two points.

Sam Thompson scored his first points in tonight’s Ohio State-Penn State men’s basketball game in pretty spectacular fashion.
Late in the first half of the game against the Buckeyes and Nittany Lions, Thompson, a 6-foot-7 senior forward, tipped an inbounds pass. The ball deflected off his hands, up into the air, off the backboard and through the net.

Ohio State’s men’s basketball team had little trouble getting past Morehead State Saturday afternoon, beating the Eagles, 87-71.
