VCU Basketball: Troy Daniels, a step closer to NBA dreams

Troy Daniels is one step closer to living his NBA dreams as he makes the Charlotte Bobcats preseason roster. Daniels, “Buzz”, is a 6’4” Guard who can sink 3-pointers, with no sweat, all game long. During his college career with VCU Daniels broke records for most 3-point field goals in a single season with 124 and in a single game with 11. With his average points per game...

VCU goes cold late, loses 63-61 to Indiana

Troy Daniels stayed crouched on the floor for minutes after the final horn. Towels were draped over hanging heads in a solemn locker room. VCU was left to experience the same feelings the upstart Rams had created for so many others in the last two NCAA tournaments. ''I don't get over games like this. I didn't get over the Butler game last year,'' VCU coach...
