PLAYERS: Josh Nunes
TEAMS: Stanford Cardinal

The Puppy Dawgs rode a stellar defensive performance (!!!) to knock off #8 Stanford on Thursday night. Fig Jam praises the scheme, I praise the focus and effort, and we both note that Josh Nunes is not so great. Elsewhere, the Beavers kept their brilliant early season rolling with a late win in Tucson, Cal and WSU seem ready to implode, and UCLA bounced back against Colorado.

So, can Washington end their losing streak against Oregon? In a word, no. But the game looks INTERESTING at least now. Bow Down.
