Head Coach John L Smith looks to have another strong campaign in the coming season.  The Razorbacks finished 2011 with an 11-2 record and 6-2 in the SEC. Arkansas also made it to the Cotton Bowl defeating Kansas State 29-16.

Personnel:

Arkansas returns a total of 15 starters 7 on offense including the quarterback, 6 on defense, and 2 on special teams.

Defense:

Key defensive returnees include linebacker Alonzo Highsmith, safety Eric Bennet, cornerback Tevin Mitchel, and defensive tackle Byran Jones altogether combined for 257 tackles, 4.5 sacks, and 3 interceptions.

Offense:

Key offensive returnees include quarterback Tyler  Wilson, running backs Knile Davis, Dennis Johnson, Ronnie Wingo, wide receiver Cobi Hamilton, and tight end Chris Gragg combining for total offense of 2,450 rushing yards, 37 touchdowns, 6 interceptions, and 75 receiving yards.

Top recruits:

The Razorbacks make additions on offense and defense with running back Jonathan Williams, wide receiver Keon Hatcher, defensive end Deatrich Wise, and defensive end Taiwan Johnson.
