The beginning of the Arkansas offseason didn’t get started on the right foot with head coach Bobby Petrino caught in the middle of a scandal and eventually fired. It didn’t get much better after that. Wilson struggled throughout 2012 in part because he lost a few receivers to the NFL but mainly because his offensive line couldn’t protect him and he took a beating for it. Wilson finished the 2012 season with 3,387 passing yards, 21 touchdowns and 13 interceptions. That was a dramatic drop from the 3,638 yards, 24 touchdowns and only 6 interceptions he threw during his junior year.
