PLAYERS: Teddy Bridgewater
TEAMS:
Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater The 2013 Preseason American All-Conference Team by College Football Universe is released. As expected, Louisville and Cincinnati have the most first team players selected with seven and six respectively. Despite being projected to finish in the lower half of the conference, Memphis has three first team players; Rutgers also has three. Connecticut has two while Houston, SMU, South Florida, and UCF all have one each on the first team. Temple has no representatives on the first squad. Louisville QB Teddy Bridgewater is the most talked about player in the conference and should be the top quarterback selected in the 2014 NFL Draft. Other than a few top quality players here and there, the conference lacks depth in talent overall. The departure of teams to other conferences will likely drain the talent pool further.  2013 American Athletic All-Conference First Team Offense OL: Torrian Wilson (r-Jr. 6-3 308) UCF OL: Eric Lefeld (Jr. 6-6 287)...
