Welcome into our post-spring look at where the Big Ten stands in terms of talent. We got things kicked off yesterday with a look at our No. 25 player, Christian Bryant of Ohio State. Today we move on to a name that may surprise a few people, not because of the position or school this man comes from, but because he was perhaps overshadowed a lot in the past 24 months or so.

Before we get there though, let us remind you of what criteria we used to make our Top 25 list. We used things like importance to your team, overall skill at your position, records set, past performance, conference honors (coaches, media, our list too), and the good old fashioned eye test.

Without further ado... let us dive into one of the most versatile players in the Big Ten.

No. 24: Ryan Groy (OL, Wisconsin)

2012 stats/honors: 2nd team All-Big Ten (coaches), honorable mention (media)

What makes him worthy: Groy may be the single most versatile offensive lineman in the Big Ten, in fact we'd go as far as to say there isn't another one better at being versatile. So versatile that he has started at least one game at ever position on the O-Line except for the right tackle spot and he could be making the move from left guard to left tackle this season following the graduation and drafting of Rick Wagner and depending on the health of Taylor Marz. Hard to argue that's not versatility, huh?

Wisconsin turns out great offensive linemen like Little Debbie turns out snacks and Groy, a 2nd team All-Big Ten pick by the coaches last season, could be poised to be the next big time lineman from what should be known as "O-Line U." While Groy may not be a name most know yet, that's not due to a lack of skill and has more to do with who has been in front of him and around him on the O-Line.

He's got immense talent and because of his ability to fill in almost anywhere he's likely to be an NFL draft pick. Groy is simply one of the top O-Lineman in the conference and he'll be more than capable of handling the full-time switch to left tackle if that's where line coach T.J. Woods and coach Andersen think he fits best for the team. After all, we are talking about a guy who's seen action one way or another in every single game of his entire three years at Wisconsin so far. Now that's impressive.

The Top 25 List:

No. 25 - Christian Bryant (S, Ohio State)
No. 24 - Ryan Groy (OL, Wisconsin)
