Alabama and South Carolina were once considered the favorite for Taj Williams, a 6-foot-3 190-pound athlete from Tallahassee, Fla., but Charlie Strong and his staff aren’t going down without a fight. Williams is rated as a 4-star prospect and has scholarship offers from Alabama, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida State, South Florida, Washington State, Notre Dame, Louisville and Central Florida. According to Joe Doyle of CougFan.com, Louisville Alabama, Florida State and Washington State are the four schools pursuing Williams the hardest at this point. He is scheduled to take an official visit to Louisville in January. Williams is a big time athlete and can play both wide receiver and defensive back.
