I know Nike has lots of influence on Ducks gear because the headquarters are very close to the campus in Eugene. However that doesn't mean you can use the Ducks as guinea pigs to test out gear and jerseys. The Ducks have an image to protect, as well as playing good football. If you look good and feel good, you play good. Oregon has neither going for them right now.
