Steve Slaton to enter NFL Draft

West Virginia RB Steve Slaton announced Sunday that he will skip his senior season and enter the NFL Draft. This season, Slaton ran for 1051 yards and scored 17 TD's. "I just told my coaches," an emotional Slaton said. "This is hard for me. But my coaches that knew me best have left. And now it's time for me to leave."

Not sure what to make of Steve Slaton. He might be a good change of pace, but I don't think he'll be a featured back at the next level.

Noel Devine will be way better next season, he wouldn't have even started had he stayed.

Noel Devine is sick. Here is some footage of his from high school. Pretty awesome. If you're a Devine fan, you've probably seen this (and others like it). But if this is new to you, it's worth a watch.

Dewey the vid is no longer available

That was a sick video, he's amazingly fast!

noel devine is sick

great article tc but I don't think this was the year for Slaton to go even though Devine gives him a scare.

This isn't all that surprising, especially after coach Rod left he and Pat White in the dust.
