UF's Ingram could jump to NFL
Ingram, Florida's junior tight end, said Monday he expects to forgo his senior year and enter the NFL Draft if he learns that he will be drafted in the first three rounds. Ingram added that he believes he will be.
"I am pretty confident about it," Ingram said. "I'm trying not to worry about it. I'm just trying to get ready for Michigan." Ingram submitted paperwork to the NFL's advisory committee earlier this month regarding his draft status. He said he expects to receive that paperwork back as early as this week. Ingram said he won't announce his final decision until after Florida plays Michigan in the Capital One Bowl on Jan. 1.
