The Oklahoma Sooners and Nebraska Cornhuskers have decided to renew their series that has been so great in the past. The Sooners and Cornhuskers have met a total of 86 times since 1912 with the Sooners leading the series 45-38-3. Classic rivalries like Oklahoma-Nebraska are part of college football’s historic fabric,” Sooners athletic director Joe Castiglione said. “The ability to rekindle a fabled series between two tradition-rich programs and two extremely loyal and passionate fan bases was very important to both universities.” Currently the games are set for September 18th, 2021 and Sept 17th, 2022.
