Geoff Burke-USA TODAY Sports

Amidst the recent buzz surrounding Quinn Ewers’ decision to return to the Texas Longhorns, there has been considerable speculation about the future of Arch Manning in 2024.

The burning question on everyone’s mind is whether Arch Manning will extend his stay with the Longhorns or opt to enter the transfer portal. While the rumor mill continues to churn, it seems that Manning may have already reached a verdict on his future.

Manning spoke out on the possibility of transferring to a new team in late December.

“Obviously there’s always rumors, especially nowadays. I haven’t looked into transferring at all. I’m just focused on developing and helping this team any way I can and hopefully one day playing for the University of Texas like I’ve always wanted to.”

Here’s the video of Manning revealing his future plans if you’d prefer to watch it for yourself:

Currently, there is no indication that Manning is contemplating a transfer. His decision appears to be leaning towards remaining at Texas for his redshirt freshman season.

However, it’s essential to remember that circumstances can change, and Manning’s plans may evolve over time. For now though, he’s still committed to the Texas Longhorns.
