Arkansas definitely looked like they had a shot to contend in the SEC East this season, and one of the main reasons was their start quarterback, Tyler Wilson. But last week the Razorbacks lost Wilson to an injury, and according to sources he wont play in this weekend’s game. And if that wasn’t bad enough, the #1 ranked Crimson Tide are in town. The Razorbacks already slipped up when they lost to Louisiana-Monroe in a monumental upset. To add insult to injury, Arkansas went from being ranked #8 in the AP polls to being unranked this week. The Hogs just can’t seem to catch a break lately. But luckily for them, they get to take on Alabama at home. If Arkansas’ offense can put up some numbers against the Crimson Tide’s elite defense, they might still stand a chance. Arkansas also doesn’t have to face South Carolina or LSU until the the of the season. Razorback fans better pray Wilson is healthy by then.

Wilson calls Arkansas teammates quitters

After Alabama crushed Arkansas 52-0 Saturday, Razorbacks' quarterback Tyler Wilson, who didn't play due to a head injury, called his teammates out: "As a leader it sucks to see people not do their jobs and to see things go wrong."

Arkansas facing crisis of confidence

The easiest crisis to pinpoint is the quarterback. If Tyler Wilson is less-than-full-speed on Saturday, Arkansas will almost certainly struggle, especially given how dominant Nick Sabans Alabama defense has looked in their first two games. Even playing at home in Fayetteville, and even with running back Knile Davis healthy and stronger than ever, the Hogs are a passing team....

Defense leads No. 1 Alabama over Arkansas 52-0

Tyler Wilson had seen all he could handle with a minute left in Arkansas' 52-0 loss to No. 1 Alabama when he asked to speak to the media afterward. Injured players don't normally talk after games for the Razorbacks, but Wilson's case was different. The senior quarterback, who missed the game with a head injury, felt the season slipping away Saturday. Last week's...

Reeling Razorbacks prepped for No. 1 Alabama

Arkansas has lost its last five games against Alabama, and it enters Saturday with the prospect of facing the No. 1 Crimson Tide without starting quarterback Tyler Wilson. Wilson's availability for the Razorbacks (1-1) is uncertain after he suffered a head injury during the first half of last week's shocking loss to Louisiana-Monroe. Wilson didn't practice Thursday,...

Alabama vs Arkansas predictions: hungry hogs can take down the Tide

The Alabama vs Arkansas predictions will most likely favor the Alabama Crimson Tide, but there is reason to believe the Razorbacks can make a statement. The Arkansas Razorbacks are off arguably the worst loss in the school’s history. They will be playing without their best player as quarterback Tyler Wilson will be out for the game. No one is giving the Razorbacks a shot at beating...

Alabama Crimson Tide at Arkansas Razorbacks Week 3 College Football Preview

The Tide continue to roll regardless of their opponent and it shouldn’t change much in this matchup. The status of All-American quarterback Tyler Wilson is vital for any chance of an upset to be made. Wilson is one of the best in the game, and the offense missed him quite a bit when he left a bit woozy in the first half against Louisiana-Monroe. Freshman Brandon Allen has talent...

Arkansas looks to regroup following Alabama loss

Arkansas has gone from national championship hopeful to a team trying to stay together after three games this season. The latest crushing blow for the Razorbacks (1-2, 0-1 Southeastern Conference) came in the form of a 52-0 drubbing at the hands of No. 1 Alabama (3-0, 1-0) on Saturday. It was the Crimson Tide's second straight shutout, the first time Arkansas had been shut out...

Video: Did CBS’ Verne Lundquist drop an F-bomb during the Alabama game?

Seventy-two-year-old CBS sportscaster Verne Lundquist may have dropped an F-bomb during the network’s broadcast of the Alabama vs. Arkansas game. Lundquist was live on the air chatting with broadcast partner Gary Danielson early in the fourth quarter during Alabama’s 52-0 romp over the Arkansas Razorbacks. It was such a dominating win for the Crimson Tide that Danielson and...

Alabama vs. Arkansas: Three Bold Predictions

There was a time not so long ago where a case could be made that Alabama at Arkansas was the biggest game in the SEC in 2012.Then Bobby Petrino crashed his motorcycle and things changed for Arkansas. While his replacement John L. Smith has had his share of success, he's not Petrino. Especially without quarterback Tyler Wilson. The Razorback lost perhaps the best quarterback...
