Auburn target Ryan Williams reclassifies to the 2024 class

Ryan Williams is a 6'0.5 foot 165-pound receiver from Saraland, Alabama, who has been committed to the Alabama Crimson Tide since October 8th, 2022. 

It was announced today that Williams will reclassify from the 2025 class to the 2024 class. 

In the 2025 class, Williams was a top-five player, so many wondered where he would be located in the 2024 class. 

After the ranking's updated Williams is ranked 12th in the 247Sports composite rankings for the 2024 class. 

Despite Williams being committed to Alabama for over a year Hugh Freeze and his staff have made a hard push after Williams. 

It won't be easy to flip Williams away from the hands of Nick Saban, but Coach Freeze has proven he will fight until the very end on the recruiting trail. 

If the Tigers were able to flip Williams, the Auburn 2024 receiver class would be one of the best in college football history.

Receiver was a position that Auburn struggled at in 2023, and Coach Freeze has made it a point to change that for the better in the recruiting class. 

We are getting close to signing day, and this race between the Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide could be a very interesting one.
