There is an media rule they teach you in Journalism School. “No cheering in the pressbox” It is one of those rules that is rarely enforced, but most abide by. Well, it was enforced this evening. Former NFL Quarterback (Saints and Falcons) was cheering a little too hard for LSU and was thrown out. Poor Bobby Hebert. Got escorted out of press box by cops right before TD play. — Pat Forde (@YahooForde) November 4, 2012   Recap: Hebert had been cheering in press box all night. Been warned. Kept cheering. Got tossed. Now back to the game, which is really good — Pat Forde (@YahooForde) November 4, 2012   Ironically, the last time anyone had talked about Bobby Hebert is when he was critical of Les Miles for not playing Jarrett Lee in the BCS Championship game. Hebert host a radio show in New Orleans. Check out other great articles at BlackSportsOnline. var switchTo5x=true; stLight.options({publisher:''});

It is finally here the 2012 Mount Everett of college football weekends.  It originally was suppose to pit the top four teams in the country with the winners setting up the National Championship games, but LSU could not move the ball in their loss at the Swamp to Florida and USC lost two games, one to Stanford after their start center Khaled Holmes and then last week got beaten by...

Saban cut-out at Baton Rouge driving range

It’s a lovely convenience when you can get in your Friday afternoon 18 and still be able to exhibit the appropriate levels of hate for your weekend football opponent.  Well, The Caddy Shack in Baton rouge offers just such a luxury…by sticking an 8 foot tall (he wishes) Nick Saban on their driving range, that, by the looks of the damage, is nothing but an appropriately timed...

AJ McCarron was, to put it in a word, REALLY ineffective in the second half against LSU as the top-ranked team in the country was in a fight that a lot of people knew would happen eventually... "Every Thursday, we go through a two-minute drill," McCarron said after. "We go against a pretty tough defense in practice, too. The confidence level was that we would go...
