Baseball Blogging Network:
With an opportunity to show a national television audience why they should once again become a BCS buster, a close game on the road was not what the Broncos (No. 7 BCS, No. 5 AP) had in mind to show people what they could do. Kellen Moore threw for 354 yards and three touchdowns, and Boise State remained unbeaten and in contention for a BCS bid with a 45-35 victory over Louisiana Tech on Friday night.
Boise State won the game and that is all that matters as they stay unbeaten. The bad news for Boise State is it seems they are held to a higher standard and a win like this does not really help them. A big name school wins a game like this nothing really is said about it. When Boise State does it people seem to think they got lucky. I think many people do not want to see Boise State make it to a BCS bowl game. In the end if they keep winning they will be there.
