New Boise State Broncos’ head coach Bryan Harsin got perhaps his biggest commitment since taking over the program on Sturday night when 4-star quarterback Brett Rypien gave his pledge to the Broncos.
Rypien is the nephew of Washington Redskins’ great Mark Rypien.

Spokane (Wash.) Shadle Park quarterback Brett Rypien attended Boise State’s Junior Day on Saturday and committed to the Broncos while on campus.
Boise State landed a Top-10 ranked QB in the Nation on Saturday with a pledge from Spokane Washington's Brett Rypien. Rypien, in Boise for the Bronco's Junior Day was without question one of the biggest targets for the Broncos, and instantly becomes the cornerstone to the 2015 recruiting class for the Broncos.
With success comes attention. As the Boise State men’s basketball team has improved over the years, so too has the exposure for head coach Leon Rice. As speculation grew that he might take the Washington State position, Judson (Tx.) senior forward/center David Wacker remained calm, and more importantly to Bronco fans, committed.
