Carlos Hyde's three game suspension is over. How will his return affect Ohio State's offense? Buckeye Sports Bulletin's Ben Axelrod and Simone Scott discuss that and more as they preview the Buckeyes' game against Florida A&M.

Big Ten Football week 4 preview and predictions

Can you believe what has happened to our little conference since I last contributed to all of you wasting your valuable work time?..Bo Pelini jumped into the deep end of the pool by essentially telling Husker great Tommie Frazier that he didn’t need his support?…oh..what started that was a recording of Pelini allegedly from a couple of years ago bashing Nebraska fans after a...

Photo: Ohio State To Wear “MT” Helmet Decal To Honor Fallen Student

The Ohio State Buckeyes will be mixing up their wardrobe today, and I think most fans will approve of the move. In addition to the iconic buckeye stickers, all OSU players will sport a “MT” helmet decal in their week four matchup to honor Maria Tiberi, a fellow student who was killed earlier this week in a car crash. The decal is a black circle with her initials written in white...

Buckeyes near full strength against underdog FAMU

There is almost no one - except for maybe a deluded fan somewhere - who believes Florida A&M has a remote chance against fourth-ranked Ohio State on Saturday. With a Big Ten opener a week later against rival Wisconsin, the Buckeyes will use the Rattlers as a full-dress scrimmage to iron out the final wrinkles before embarking on the games that really count. ''We don...

Buckeyes Finish Off FAMU With 76-0 Blowout

Kenny Guiton threw for a school-record six touchdowns and freshman tailback Ezekiel Elliott rushed for 162 yards and two scores as Ohio State completed the nonconference portion of its 2013 schedule by rolling to a 76-0 win over Florida A&M. It was the largest margin of victory in a shutout for the Buckeyes since a 76-0 win against Western Reserve in 1934.

Photo: Ohio State’s Block “O” Sends Out Letter Addressing Offensive Chant, Some Students Aren’t Happy

On Monday, we wrote about a petition that was started by a number of students at Ohio State. The petition called for the removal of a traditional kickoff chant that has picked up steam in recent years. The chant went like this: “O-H-I-O! Rip his f#*!ing head off!” This chant can be heard both inside the stadium and on TV. As mentioned before, not all students participate in...

Ohio State's Kenny Guiton Sets New School Record for Touchdowns in a Single Game

For fans of the Ohio State Buckeyes football team it was a great afternoon Saturday. Not only did their team notch another win to remain undefeated, but it also kept the franchise QB safe (Braxton Miller) by giving him another week to rest his sprained knee and got further proof that the heir apparent is going to be pretty darn good. How do we know that? Does the fact that he...

Buckeyes Enjoy Once-In-A-Lifetime Chance

Ohio State didn't play in a close football game on Saturday, but it was a day that many in the program will remember forever. A number of unheralded players and walk-ons got the chance to shine in Ohio Stadium in the Buckeyes' win vs. Florida A&M.

Nothing to see here: Why the Buckeyes must stick with Braxton Miller

Kenny Guiton is the truth. If the video above (fast forward to the 2:50 mark if you wish) did not do the trick, I told you last week, and then he went out and made me look prescient against Cal. Last Saturday in Berkeley, Buckeyes fans witnessed a coming out party. Guiton had proven himself in relief many times before—in crunch time against Purdue last season, this year against...
