On Sunday afternoon Charlie Strong and the Louisville football program landed their second commitment of the weekend.
On Saturday, Devin Pike, a three star tight end from Cincinnati gave Louisville a verbal commitment. On Sunday afternoon, Terry Ramsey, a 6-foot-5, 225-pound, defensive end from Clayton, OH., verbally pledged to Louisville.
Ramsey made the decision to commit to Louisville during a scheduled visit to campus.He is regarded as one of the 25 best weak-side defensive ends in the country.
The Ohio native is ranked as a three-star prospect. Ramsey chose Louisville over Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska and West Virginia. Louisville and West Virginia are reportedly the two schools that it came down to for Ramsey.
With Ramsey’s commitment, Louisville currently has 22 verbal commits from the 2014 class. Assistant coach Tommy Restivo played a huge role in landing Ramsey. He’s been focused on the state of Ohio for the past couple of months.
