Charlie Strong has picked up his third commitment in the last five days.
Detric Dukes, a 6-foot-2 200-pound linebacker from Tucker, GA., verbally committed to Louisville on Monday afternoon. He is one of the many class of 2014 prospects that took unofficial visits to Louisville over the weekend.
Dukes chose Louisville over Vanderbilt and Auburn, but also had scholarship offers from North Carolina State, Washington State, Connecticut, Syracuse and Buffalo.
The Georgia native had initially planned to make his decision during the summer, but after knew that Louisville was the place for him after visiting for the Spring Game. This was his second visit to Louisville, after visiting for junior day in February.
Dukes is the fifth member of the 2014 class that has committed to Louisville. He joins quarterback Reggie Bonnafon, safety Michael Johnson, linebacker Jeff Williams and tight end Micky Crum.
