Gavin McCarney and Jordan McCord scored late touchdowns to help rally Colgate past Lehigh 35-24 Saturday in Patriot League play. Lehigh (9-1, 3-1) took a 14-0 lead on a 2-yard run by Zach Barket and a 1-yard run by Keith Sherman. McCord and McCarney would score 1-yard and 10-yard rushing touchdowns in the second quarter, respectively, to cut the deficit, but Jake Peery's 43-yard field goal as time expired in the first half helped Lehigh take a 24-14 advantage into halftime. McCord finished with two touchdowns and 118 yards on 35 carries while McCarney finished with three touchdowns and 121 yards on 24 carries. Colgate (7-3, 5-0) held the Mountain Hawks scoreless the entire second half. McCarney and McCord took over in the fourth quarter. McCarney's 2-yard TD run gave Colgate the lead 28-24 with 9:14 left, and McCord's touchdown run of 8 yards with 1:19 remaining sealed the victory.

No. 13 California 80, Lehigh 48

Gennifer Brandon had 17 points and 10 rebounds Friday night and No. 13 California scored the game's first 14 points in cruising past Lehigh 80-48. Five players scored in double figures for the Golden Bears. Brittany Boyd scored 16 points, Layshia Clarendon had 14 points and Afure Jemerigbe and Reshanda Gray chipped in 10 points apiece.
