Per Christian Caple's twitter account we've learned that a couple Washington State Cougars have been in a bit of trouble the last few days.

Starting linebacker Travis Long was arrested on the evening of July 20 on suspicion of minor in possession of alcohol.

On Sunday DT Anthony Laurenzi was arrested on suspicion of third-degree theft.

A WSU spokesman confirmed that coaches are aware of the situation.


Laurenzi situation appears still unresolved

AN INTERNET REPORT stating that starting Washington State nose tackle Anthony Laurenzi had been dismissed from the team got the crimson masses jumping this afternoon, but indications are that report looks to be premature.
