The Sugar Bowl is tied with the Orange and Sun as the second oldest bowl game in the country, and has been played in New Orleans since January 1, 1935 (with a brief, Katrina-forced pit stop in Atlanta in 2006). This marks the second time in four games that Florida will square off against the Big East champion, after Tim Tebow's Gators flattened undefeated Cincinnati in 2010. Florida's nine Sugar Bowl wins are second only to Alabama and LSU, who each have 13. This is Louisville's first appearance int he game.
