Every NFL draft since it has been covered like the United States presidential inauguration has included a story of a player who overcame some sort of career threatening injury or some hardship of the sort. Well, I cannot recall any prospect ever having to overcome the injury that Dion Jordan had to as a senior at Chandler High School in Arizona. Unlike most of these stories, Jordan’s injury occurred far from the gridiron.
