Quarterbacks Connor Halliday, Washington State (at Oregon)- Halliday has had an up and down season so far but expect this to be a down game. Oregon is a very athletic defense and have forced 15 turnovers. Halliday will have trouble throwing for a ton of yards on the road against arguably the best team in the nation.  Cole Gautsche, New Mexico (vs. Utah State)- Utah State may have lost their star quarterback but their defense is still pretty solid against the run. Gautsche is a running quarterback and has had success so far this season. Utah State gives up 129.1 yards rushing per game so Gautsche may be hard pressed for yards in this one. He doesn’t throw a ton so he will a tough play this week. Cody Fajardo, Nevada (at Boise State)- This one may be a little biased on my end but I think Fajardo will have a bad game compared to the bar he has set. Fajardo is one of the top fantasy quarterbacks but the Boise defense is improving and look to put Fajardo in difficult down and distance situations forcing him to throw. Boise is a 22.5 point favorite so Nevada could be playing from behind for the whole game requiring Fajardo to throw.    Running Backs  Storm Johnson, UCF (at Lousiville)- Louisville has the #2 ranked rush defense as they give up just 68.3 yards per game. I think the stats that is more impressive is that they only give up 2.16 yards per carry and just one rushing touchdown. This game has some big implications though as UCF is the toughest test for Louisville for the remainder of the season. Johnson has slowed down from the great pace he began the season with and will have a tough time on Friday Night. Alex Collins, Arkansas (at Alabama)- Collins is a great freshman running back in a great system but this week he could have a difficult time finding room to run. Alabama is very strong against the run as always but until Arkansas can develop any kind of passing game, teams will continue to load the box to stop Collins. If Alabama loads the box against Arkansas, Collins may not break 40 yards. James Sims, Kansas (vs. Oklahoma)- Sims is going to have a tough time producing against a solid Oklahoma defense on Saturday. Sims is the focal point of the Jayhawks offense and should get plenty of touches but don’t expect him to do much with them.     Wide Receivers Missouri WRs (vs. Florida)- The Florida defense is fantastic especially against the pass. The Gators only allow 152 yards per game through the air and only 4.98 yards per attempt. Combine those stats with the injury to quarterback James Franklin and you have a recipe for disaster for the Missouri wideouts. It will best to find another option if you have one of these guys this week. Jaelen Strong, Arizona State (vs. Washington)- Strong has been a very good player this season but Washington’s defense has been very good against the pass. They are only allowing offenses to complete 54% of their passes for an average of 182 yards per game. Arizona State like to throw the ball but don’t expect Strong to have one of his bigger game this week.       Filed under: Fantasy, Weekly Picks Tagged: Alex Collins, Arizona State, Arkansas, Cody Fajardo, Cole Gautsche, Connor Halliday, Jaelen Strong, James Sims, Kansas, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Storm Johnson, UCF, Washington State 1 total views, 1 views today
