The Tennessee Vols are set to take on the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday in Neyland Stadium.
On Thursday, former Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback Greg McElroy revealed his predictions for this week's biggest games, including Tennessee's matchup against Texas A&M.
And McElroy thinks the Vols will get it done this weekend against the Aggies, despite Texas A&M's dominant defensive front.
"Everything is telling me to take Tennessee here," said McElroy. "I'm going to follow the trends in this one. I think Tennessee gets it done. A&M, it's a tough spot for them. Got a lot that goes into the Bama game (last week). They came up short in that matchup. I hope that it doesn't have a hangover effect. Obviously, Tennessee has Bama next week, so it could be a look-ahead spot for [Tennessee]. But they're coming off a bye. I would expect a focused Tennessee group that takes care of business at home against the Aggies."
All of Tennessee's goals this season -- like winning the SEC East -- are still attainable. But there's no room for error thanks to that early season loss to Florida.
Every game the rest of the season will be "huge" for the Vols. But those games won't be nearly as important if the Vols lose to the Aggies this weekend. It's a must-win game for Tennessee with several more must-win games on the horizon if they can get a W this weekend.
