Found September 16, 2013 on Fox Sports Arizona:
1. Alabama Crimson Tide 2-0 -- Bama accepted the challenge and withstood a record performance from Johnny Manziel. Yes, "revenge" is sweet for the Tide. 2. Stanford Cardinal 2-0 -- A long trip East resulted in a win at Army for the Cardinal. They are home this week to open the Pac-12 season against fellow unbeaten Arizona State. 3. Oregon Ducks 3-0 -- The Ducks spotted Tennessee an early seven points before overwhelming the Vols 59-14. Theyre off this week before Cal visits Eugene. 4. Ohio State Buckeyes 3-0 1 I just saw the Buckeyes in person, and they are impressive. Backup QB Kenny Guiton led a sensational team effort in a big win against Cal. 5. Clemson Tigers 2-0 -1 The Tigers took the weekend off and now face a dangerous North Carolina State team on the road this Thursday. 6. Oklahoma State Cowboys 3-0 1 The Cowboys ignored the distractions from last weeks report alleging widespread violations in the last decade and swamped an outclassed Lamar team. They have a week off before a tough trip to West Virginia. 7. Louisville Cardinals 3-0 1 Kentucky challenged the Cardinals early, but the "Ville" was simply too talented, holding UK to 0-13 on third downs. 8. LSU Tigers 3-0 2 The Tigers outgained Kent State 571-248 and won by 32 points. The Bengal Tigers open SEC play on Saturday with a rejuvenated Auburn team. 9. Texas A&M Aggies 2-1 -3 A tough, battling loss at home to Alabama, but this team is too talented to dismiss this early. 10. Georgia Bulldogs 1-1 1 The Bulldogs had a respite this past weekend, which was well deserved after playing Clemson and South Carolina in their first two games. 11. UCLA Bruins 2-0 3 The Bruins had the most impressive performance of the weekend in coming from down 21-3 at Nebraska and scoring the next 38 points straight. 12. South Carolina Gamecocks 2-1 -- It fended off a tough Vanderbilt team and now heads to UCF this week. Be careful, Gamecocks. 13. Oklahoma Sooners 3-0 -- Good things come to those with patience. QB Blake Bell finally got the starting nod and threw for 413 yards and four TD's. The Sooners have a week off before heading to South Bend. 14. Michigan Wolverines 3-0 -5 How about that strong, collective sigh of relief in the Big House as the Wolverines survived Akron?! Get ready for a tough week of practice, fellas. 15. Florida State Seminoles 2-0 -- This team may be under-ranked by moi. Frosh QB Jameis Winston has seven TD passes and five incompletions in two games. 16. Miami (FL) Hurricanes 2-0 -- The Canes don't leave the state for a game until Oct. 17. Its a name-your-score game against Savannah State this weekend. 17. Northwestern Wildcats 3-0 1 Coach Pat Fitzgerald's Wildcats are marking time until Big Ten play begins. They will be a factor in the conference race. 18. Washington Huskies 2-0 1 Excellent win over Illinois at Soldier Field, and yes, QB Keith Price is BACK. RB Bishop Sankey needs more publicity. 19. Arizona State Sun Devils 2-0 3 A controversial ending in their HUGE win over Wisconsin, but the Sun Devils will take it and ride the momentum to take on No. 2 Stanford (No. 5 in latest AP poll) on Saturday. 20. Notre Dame Fighting Irish 2-1 -- When Notre Dame visits, it gets everyone's best shot. A good road win for the Irish at Purdue, but they will have to play better against Michigan State this weekend. 21. Florida Gators 1-1 -- The Gators welcome Tennessee this Saturday and have won eight straight over the Vols. 22. Mississippi Rebels 3-0 2 This team's confidence and stature continues to grow right in front of us. The win at Texas could easily propel this team to really challenge Alabama in two weeks. 23. Baylor Bears 2-0 -- Bears QB Bryce Petty leads an offense averaging 737 yards per game, best in the nation. A tough one with Louisiana-Monroe looms this week. 24. UCF Knights 3-0 -- People may not know much about this team from Orlando, but in the Knights short history, they own wins at Alabama and, after this past Saturday, Penn State. 25. Texas Tech Red Raiders 3-0 -- Rookie head coach Kliff Kingsbury is getting the attention as the "GQ" coach, but his freshman walk-on QB Baker Mayfield is his best accessory.

Report: Many NFL teams consider Johnny Manziel to be 'undraftable'

Johnny Manziel’s talent is undeniable. Texas A&M lost to Alabama on Saturday thanks in part to Manziel’s crucial interception in the end zone, but he managed to throw for 464 yards and five touchdowns against the two-time defending national champions. He also added 98 yards rushing. Oh yeah, and he became the first freshman ever […]

Peter King: NFL teams think Johnny Manziel parties too much and he is undraftable

This isn’t exactly breaking news, but Johnny Manziel parties, a lot. Ya know who else parties a lot? 99% of college football players. The big difference about Manziel is that he has allowed himself to be available to be chronicled…Read more →

Harvey Updyke taunts Johnny Manziel

Harvey Updyke is back, and he's more or less the same Harvey Updyke we all know and ... well, that we all know. Updyke, an Alabama fan who is notorious for an incident in which he poisoned some important trees in Auburn, Ala., then went on the radio to brag about it, bore witness to his beloved Crimson Tide's 49-42 victory over Texas A&M. Aggies celebrity quarterback...

Johnny Manziel Breaks Tackles, Scrambles on Third Down To Complete Unlikely Hail Mary for First Down (GIFs)

Johnny Manziel may be the most controversial quarterback in college football, but he’s also one of the most electrifying. During the second quarter of the Alabama-Texas A&M game, Johnny Football found himself in a dire situation. Manziel dropped back on third-and-eight, evaded tackles from every which way, and as he continued to scramble into his own territory, he somehow was...

Johnny Manziel: This isn't the end of our season.

Johnny Manziel ended the media lockout following the loss to Alabama Saturday and spent a few minutes taking questions from reporters. To make sure the Q and A session stayed on focus he requested that reporters not ask any questions related to the autograph mess. If his polite request wasn't enough an A&M spokesperson made sure they understood by letting them know how...

Bama official site: “Crimson Tide contained Manziel much of the game”

This is one of the worst lies I’ve seen in a press release in quite some time. And believe me, that’s really saying something because I receive like two or three dozen press releases every single weekday. And a few more on the weekends. The Crimson Tide sent this release out to their media, and posted the same offering on the Alabama Crimson Tide official website, in their game...

Video: Johnny Manziel Leads Aggies Down Field For Touchdowns On First Two Drives

It seems that Johnny Football is picking up right where he left off the last time he played against Alabama. Manziel has driven the Aggies down the field for touchdowns on both of the team’s first two possessions, giving Texas A&M a 14-0 lead early on in College Station. He’s been a terror for the Tide to contain on defense. Here’s the first touchdown – a 1-yard toss...

No. 6 A&M loses to top-ranked Alabama 49-42

No. 6 Texas A&M was tied with top-ranked Alabama in the second quarter when Johnny Manziel scrambled and scrambled some more, then wriggled away from an Alabama defender who had him caught by the jersey. Then just as another white jersey was barreling toward him - and 26 yards behind the line of scrimmage - he launched a pass that Edward Pope grabbed for a 12-yard gain on third...

Three & Out: Week 3

First Down. It must be absolutely sickening as a Texas A&M fan that Johnny Manziel's 562 total yards and five touchdowns weren't enough to get the win at home. I know Manziel had 2 INT's, but seriously, there's nothing more he could have done. He personally carved up one of the best defenses in the nation (led by one of the best defensive minds in the nation)...

Johnny Manziel Is A Video Game

After about a year of waiting, the college football world got what they wanted. It was the most anticipated rematch in recent memory. Johnny Manziel vs. Alabama gave us everything a fan could want, and more. The game began almost as an exact replica of last season’s battle in Tuscaloosa. Johnny Manziel made some serious moves to give his Aggies the early 14-0 advantage. I wondered...

Alabama's T.J. Yeldon Mocks Johnny Manziel

Texas A&M got off to a fast start against Alabama with 14 quick points, but than Alabama fired back with 28 unanswered points to take a 28-14 lead. The fourth touchdown came off a 4-yard run by T.J. Yeldon on a drive that started after a Johnny Manziel interception. Following the touchdown Yeldon gave A&M a reason to get fired up by mocking their quarterback. ...

Texas A&M shifts focus to SMU

Texas A&M has heard enough of the game of the year talk surrounding last Saturday's 49-42 loss to top-ranked Alabama. The Aggies (2-1) have turned the page and are now focusing on the final nine games of the season, starting with SMU (1-1). "A lot's been said about last weekend," Texas A&M head coach Kevin Sumlin said. "It was a heck of a football...

Bama Holds Off Aggies 49-42

photo: Kevin C Cox/Getty Images This was the game everybody has been anticipating since Johnny Manziel and the Aggies went to Bryant-Denny Stadium last season and upset the eventual National Champion Crimson Tide. After the Tide dismantled Notre Dame and won their second straight title, this game was circled on most calendars around the college football world. Would the game...

Johnny Manziel Does His Best Impersonation of ‘Kaepernicking’ After Taking 14-0 Lead in First Quarter (GIF)

If imitation is the sincerest form of flattery then Colin Kaepernick must be feeling pretty good about himself right now. Texas A&M stormed out to a 14-0 lead over Alabama in the first quarter of Saturday’s highly-anticipated rematch. The early lead was cause for celebration for the Aggies, and Johnny Manziel paid homage to the San Francisco 49ers quarterback with a quick kiss...

Texas A&M Aggies vs. SMU Mustangs: Game Preview

This Saturday at 8 p.m. EST, the Texas A&M Aggies will take on the SMU Mustangs at Kyle Field. A&M has the clear upperhand in the history of these two schools with an all time record of 42-29-7. Last year, with Manziel at the helm, the Aggies snubbed the Mustangs 48-3.The Mustangs are coming off of a bye week as they head into Kyle field, and allowed 378 yards to the lowly...
