The South Carolina Gamecocks football team offered a scholarship to and received a verbal commitment from kicker Nick St. Germain today.This recruitment fills a major need for the 2012 roster as USC is losing their starting kicker and punter in the upcoming season.  St. Germain should compete for the starting field goal and kickoff specialist job.St. Germain (Powder Springs, Ga./McEachern) is rated 3 stars by 247Sports, which ranks him as the nation's fourth best kicking prospect for 2012.St. Germain picked the Gamecocks over offers from Middle Tennessee State, Georgia Southern and South Alabama.
