According to the Twitter feed of more than one sportswriter, Isaiah Crowell is running a bit gimpy on that ankle and it doesn't look promising that he'll take many meaningful snaps in the game today. That said, coach Richt is left depending on Carlton Thomas (playing smart on the field this season but not so much off it) and Brandon Harton (who has a bad case of fumbilitis and probably shouldn't even be in pads unless he's being carried by Bruce Figgins) for the bulk of his rushing offense today.

So, does that mean that Ken Malcome, the guy who was once destined to leave Athens on the first thing smoking, will finally have that opportunity he's been so keen on getting since his arrival? He has touched the ball a few times this season, mostly in mop-up duty, and he is the freshest legged of the three guys ahead of him on the depth chart. Plus he's got something neither Thomas, nor Harton have...size.

Georgia Tech plays a 3-4, but they aren't as imposing as Georgia's charges are up front so there may be some room for a solid rushing attack if Georgia can find a set of reliable hands and feet to run it—hopefully they find the guy who can make it happen for them today.
