PLAYERS: Mark Richt
TEAMS: Georgia Bulldogs
During his Thursday presser, coach Mark Richt addressed the pay raises for his staff, what he told his players about staying out of trouble during Spring Break, and how much input he really has into the Georgia offense—funny he addressed that one since there’s a large faction of Georgia fans who still believe Richt is running the show on offense and Bobo. In any event, it was clearly time to give coach Bobo his due and it’s obvious that Richt played a huge role in making that happen. Good to hear that Keith Marshall might be able to return after the break, too, I haven’t heard too much about his hamstring since it was injured and that bodes well for how quickly he’s recovering. Hopefully he’s able to get back to full-speed this summer, for sure, and isn’t forced to deal with the types of lingering issues that kept Malcolm Mitchell off the field during the second-half of his freshman season.
