Now that we’ve gotten a good amount of games under our belt I feel comfortable with making a top ten among the college football teams.

1. Alabama. Their defense is awesome of course. What separates them from the rest though is their ability to demoralize their opponents with their running game. I honestly don’t see them losing.

2. Louisiana State. Like Alabama their defense is spectacular. I’m also now on board with the hat. He seems like he gets lucky a lot but at this point the evidence just points to him being a great coach.

3. Wisconsin. They were already a really good team last year and hard enough to stop with their offensive line and Montee Ball. Now they have Russell Wilson too? Yikes. If anyone can match up with the SEEC champion this year and put up enough points on them, it has to be Wisconsin.

4. Stanford. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck. Andrew Luck.

5. Oklahoma. They’re a good team for sure, I’m just not such a believer in their defense. Yes they’ve beaten Florida State and Texas but let’s be honest, those 2 teams aren’t any good. I think they’re going to lose a shootout at Oklahoma State.

6. Blue Mountain State. Kellen Moore is fantastic and they’re putting teams away without any difficulty, but that schedule sucks. They have to be penalized for it.

7. Oklahoma State. That offense is the best in the nation. Weeden and Blackmon are the best qb to wr combo in the nation. Just not sure the defensive side of the football can get the job done for all 12 games.

8. Oregon. I really don’t think they’re so much different than last year. It’s just that they had the bad fortune of playing a nasty LSU team and then they’ll have to go to Stanford as well. No shame in those 2 losses if they end up 10-2.

9. Clemson. At some point I have to take them seriously I guess. Tajh Boyd is a really good player. Has Dabo figured out how to not Dabo a few games away? We’ll see.

10. Arkansas. No one’s going to win in Bama. No need to penalize them for that. And the way they raped Auburn last week was impressive. It was either them or Michigan here and I feel like if they played in a bowl Arkansas would win by double digits.
