West Virginia scored its first new recruiting class with head coach Dana Holgorsen today. The verdict: As always in recruiting, none of us have any idea.
BEST OF MAXIM
West Virginia will apparently be wearing some, less than appealing, grey jerseys for a few games next season. I don’t know about you guys, but man, these are NOT GOOD!

What’s worse than getting destroyed by West Virginia 70-33 in the Orange Bowl? Having West Virginia put up a sign of the score 70-33 for recruiting purposes on highway I-79. It just so happens that the highways speed limit is 70 miles per hour so of course they incorporated that into the billboard. It’s important to drive safe.

Take this one with some incredibly huge grains of salt. After all, it comes from a high school recruit being told something by a coach.
Mountain Ridge’s Jarrod Harper, who inked his letter-of-intent to join the Mountaineers on Wednesday afternoon, said that WVU head coach Dana Holgorsen told him during the recruiting process that the Backyard Brawl would continue.
West Virginia announced a class of 21 signees at Dana Holgorsen's 3:00 p.m. press conference. That number does not include five January enrollees, and at least one more player who is announcing at 7:00 PM this evening.
Dana Holgorsen may have another vacancy to fill on his coaching staff, as Mike Smith -- hired at West Virginia on Jan. 20 -- reportedly has decided to return to the New York Jets as outside linebackers coach instead.
