The Los Angeles Times published this article today discussing which coaches are on the hot seat going into the 2012 season. To get their info they compiled the thoughts of several writers from around the Tribune Co. Let's take a look at who caught their eye and add some thoughts of our own. Brian Kelly, Notre Dame Fighting Irish (16-10) Ok, I get it. Notre Dame's expectations are through the roof and back-to-back 8-5 seasons doesn't exactly have people jumping out of their seats. This year's schedule is brutal and Kelly still doesn't know what to do at the quaterback position. People in South Bend just need to chill. Give it time. Notre Dame has fallen into a very bad routine of replacing coaches every few years. I know we're in a society with a "what have you done for me lately" mentality, but they need to seriously think about canning those new uniforms before their coach.
