Key arrived as a transfer from the University of Alabama at Birmingham.

He has experience as a safety, but he will be competing against several talented players.

The 6-foot-2, 210-pounder wears No. 22 for the Tide as he looks to secure one of two starting jobs against names such as Malachi Moore, Caleb Downs, Kristian Story, Jake Pope, and Devonta Smith. He has the makeup to be a good safety in the Southeastern Conference, but preseason camp will show us if Key has all the tools.
