When Ohio State's seniors are introduced before Saturday's final home game against Indiana, most will run across the field and receive a thunderous ovation. One will hobble out on crutches - and may get the warmest reception. Safety Christian Bryant, called the heart of the defense by coach Urban Meyer, broke his ankle on the next-to-last play of the big victory over Wisconsin almost two months ago. On Saturday, most will be smiling and celebrating, while Bryant may be left to think about what might have been and what lies ahead. Bryant swooped in as the trailer on a tackle in a game already decided. Linebacker Joshua Perry made the initial hit, then rolled over Bryant's ankle.

The Ohio State Buckeyes All White Uniforms For Michigan Game

The Ohio State Buckeyes will take the field on Nov. 30 in a new all-white uniform. The team's rich legacy and history of the 1950 “snow bowl” serve as the core inspiration for the monochrome color blocking, augmented by an integrated uniform system specifically engineered for all weather conditions.  Performing at the highest level often means battling both your opponents...

Big Ten Football week 12 rewind

Another one-loss week pushes my record to 70-14 for the season and 20-5 over the last five weeks.  The easy part is over folks…with only two weeks left and all twelve teams in action for both weeks…then the Big Ten Title game…then bowl games.  I had a couple of pretty good picks this week…I said MSU would beat Nebraska 29-27 and they did but by a 41-28 score…so off just...

Ohio State’s Urban Meyer is not a fan of the BCS

Without spending much time on it, because it’s not fair to our team for me to spend much time on it, I will say this — I think it’s a flawed system. But when you logically think about what the BCS people have done, and which obviously we’re all part of, I think it was great for a while. I think you take an imperfect system and you do the best you can without hosting a playoff...

Ohio State to wear special All-White uniform vs. Michigan

The Ohio State Buckeyes unveiled their new “Nike Rivalry” uniforms on Monday for their game against the Michigan Wolverines.  Michigan has repeatedly said that they will not wear any special uniforms this year, but I would be shocked if they don’t wear something special now that Ohio State is going to.
