I have a love/hate relationship with Twitter. I enjoy it for the up to the second updates with the endless cycle of news, and I also enjoy the ability to interact with people all over the country. Also cannot stand it for the irrational hate and the people who think they need to live tweet every single play of game. I’m not talking about the actual reporters at games, I’m talking about fans watching it at home. Anyway, then we have people like Samantha Lynne Goudie of Iowa City. She used it in the best way possible; to update everyone on her arrest at the Iowa/Northern Illinois game. First things first. Goudie was busted for being drunk as a skunk at the game, blowing an alleged .341 blood alcohol level. This level of inebriation led to her stumbling towards the field from the stands. The actual report, as can be read here, says she was ‘unsteady on her feet.’ Amazing that she was on her feet at all with that BAL.
