AMES, Iowa – Iowa State juniors A.J. Klein and Aaron Horne headlined the Cyclones honored by the Big 12 Conference Tuesday. Klein was named Co-Defensive Player of the Year and Horne was tabbed the Offensive Newcomer of the Year. The Big 12's coaches selected the All-Big 12 teams and awards.
NEW YORK -- Iowa State head coach Paul Rhoads joked that he was in culture shock after not seeing a cornfield on the way to Yankee Stadium from the airport. Rhodes spoke about that and his past games against Rutgers while coaching at Pittsburgh during his statements and a brief media Q&A today at Yankee Stadium.

I hit up Crisler for the first time this season to take in Michigan's 76-66 win over Iowa State; it wasn't that close. Michigan led by 20 for a good chunk of the second half before getting sloppy and letting ISU whittle the lead down to 8 or so; I got frustrated. KenPom is always watching.
