Steve Jones of the Courier-Journal is reporting that Louisville native and recruit James Quick will take an official visit to Louisville this weekend. Quick has been one of the top targets for Louisville program since Charlie Strong was hired in 2010.
Louisville, Ohio State and Oregon have been the top three schools on his list in that order for the past few months. Quick has been pretty open about Louisville being the favorite, but Ohio State isn’t far behind. He’ll also take a visit to Oregon before signing day. Quick is also expected to visit Kentucky and Tennessee.
Louisville assistants Ron Dugans and Vance Bedford had an in-home visit with Quick earlier this week. That visit reportedly went well. Despite how good this weekend’s visit goes, Quick will wait to announce his decision during halftime of the Army All American game on Jan. 5 in San Antonio.
