Katherine Webb was at the Alabama Crimson Tide spring game this weekend to support her boyfriend AJ McCarron, and of course to get a little bit of applause for herself.
Webb of course rose to stardom during the Crimson Tide’s national championship win over Notre Dame, and now she’s a household name all over Tuscaloosa.
Yahoo Sports is reporting that Webb posed for pictures with as many fans as she could, and drew constant applause and admiration.
All the Alabama fans though aren’t to happy about Ms. Webb and her presence in the program. Tide fans care about Championships, and according to a USA Today report, many feel that she is a distraction.
“Honestly, I’m concerned about it,” said Hunter Johnson, an Alabama fan from Tuscaloosa. “I kind of want them to break up because I’m more concerned with our football team than I am with their relationship. I think it’s great that she capitalized the way she has, but I don’t want anything to interfere with us going three in a row.”
