Found October 15, 2008 on The Sports Point:

Last night we attended the Knicks versus Sixers preseason game at the Garden. It was a pretty entertaining contest considering it was preseason and featured Stephon Marbury. There were a couple of highlights mostly the play of Wilson Chandler, David Lee and the Knicks paying tribute to Eddy Curry, who in Monday's practice exploded a giant blue physio-ball when he went to sit on it, by holding an on court balloon popping contest (no hands allowed) between two larger fans during a timeout break.
You would think that someone in the Knicks organization would say, "Hey, we might want to hold off on the two fatties trying to pop blue balloons for one night" but then again this is James Dolan's Knicks.

Hit The Road Jack (David)

I, like most Knicks fans, love watching David Lee check into the game with the scorekeeper. I know that when Lee's on the floor he's going to give his max effort and we'll see a high-energy attack of the court. That being said, Knicks fans over rate David Lee's skill set. Lee [...]

Gus Johnson......RE-MIX!

It's been a long time since Gus Johnson had something to get excited about in regards to the Knicks. While my Wizards were busy losing to the f'ing Nets on their opening night, the Knicks were busy running and dunking over the Heat. In the second quarter, Gus lets out a huge "Hell Yes!" after a put-back dunk from Wilson Chandler, and the good folks at Tirico Suave...

Cadillac Mescallade: Above All, Patrick Ewing Jr Must Make The Knicks

Regardless of how that plays out, there is the potential for a silver lining on this Knicks season should things go south - and I'm talking about more than just David Lee who is already cemented himself as the new fan favorite. I speak about Patrick Ewing Jr.

David Lee and Tony Parker Named NBA Players Of The Week

The NBA announced on Monday that New York Knickerbockers forward David Lee has been named the NBA Player Of The Week in the Eastern Conference for games that were played between January 26, through February 1. San Antonio Spurs point guard Tony Parker was awarded the honor in the Western Conference. Blazers interested in...um...Eddy Curry

Some New York writer speculated that if David Lee isn't attainable, the Blazers might shift their focus to Eddy Curry. The key word here being speculate. I'm not even going to link to the story, for what should be obvious reasons. This will be the last time we mention this.

Knicks Played Their Best Game!

Just watched the NY game and can't help but to admire the way they played yesterday. Oh, of course playing against a defenseless Warriors, its not easy to rack 138 point but then David Lee scoring 30+ and 20+ rebounds? oh wow, I know there's isn't much surprise with his rebounding but wow ...

Marbury Thinks He’s Still Starter Material

I think it is academic that Chris Duhon is the starting point guard for the New York Knicks this coming season; try telling that to Stephon Marbury though.A According to Frank Isola of the New York Daily News, Marbury made it abundantly clear on Tuesday that he feels that he is a starting guard, adding, [...]

More David Lee Rumors -- The Sequel to Przybilla?

From the NY Daily News. Sounds like the Knicks are working on a three-way deal with the Clippers and Blazers that would send former Knicks Channing Frye and Marcus Camby to New York, Quentin Richardson to the Clippers and bring in David Lee to Portland. Some of you might remember a rumored deal ...

James injured...again?

After four lackluster seasons riding the pines of the Emerald City, Jerome James, 32, turned up his game and actually started to play during the Seattle Sonics amazing playoff run (without the injured Rashard Lewis) in 04'-05'. During that off-season, New York Knicks' President of Basketball Operations *sigh* Isiah Thomas signed James to 5-year $30 million dollar...

Kelly Dwyer of Ball Don't Lie likes the Zach-to-LA trade

And here's what he had to say about it: ...the Knicks have lopped off about $17.34 million off their 2010-11 books, and are only set to send about $18.1 million combined to Eddy Curry and Jared Jeffries that year (both player options ... thanks Isiah!), plus the rookie deals of Wilson Chandler and Danilo Gallinari (about $5.4 million, combined). That's a pretty barren landscape...
