The Randy Edsall experiment has taken another tumultuous turn.  Freshman quarterback Perry Hills tore his ACL and is done for the season.  Hills was knocked out of last week’s 20-18 loss to N.C. State after an attempted tackle following an interception.  Hills was the back-up to C.J. Brown, who also tore his ACL in August.  As a freshman, Hills was showing improvement each week.  He even earned the ACC Rookie of the Week award for his 36-27 win over Temple.  For the season, Hills has thrown for 1,336 yards and 8 TDs leading the team to a 4-3 record.  Maryland’s three losses were for a combined 16 points.  His team was only a few plays away from being 6-1. Coach Edsall is obviously disappointed in the loss of Hills and Brown.  He now has to turn to true freshman QB Caleb Rowe and QB/WR Devin Burns to take snaps under center.  Rowe and Burns are the only two remaining roster quarterbacks with eligibility.   Maryland travels to Chestnut Hill this weekend to face an underperforming Bost...
