The college football world was all abuzz yesterday over National Signing Day. Most of the nation’s top recruits signed their letters of intent for the universities where they will continue their football careers. Ohio State received letters from 25 players yesterday, and may potentially receive one more from standout five-star wide receiver Stefon Diggs from Olney, MD. He is reportedly taking a visit to Maryland on Saturday, according to Ben Broman of the Testudo Times. Besides Ohio State and Maryland, Diggs is also considering Florida and Auburn.
Ohio State’s 2012 class ranks in the top 5 nationally and first in the Big Ten conference (3rd and 4th on Scout.com and Rivals.com respectively) on most recruiting sites.
