The Michigan Wolverines and Nebraska Cornhuskers wil meet in Lincoln Nebraska on Saturday October 27, 2012 in a midseason Big Ten conference battle.  This will be the first meeting between the teams in Lincoln since 1911. Last year's matchup between these two teams in Ann Arbor resulted in a blowout by the Wolverines.  Do not expect to see a blow out, but do expect a second straight victory by the Wolverines Saturday afternoon.  How will the Wolverines get there?  Here are three bold predictions that will lead to the victory for the Wolverines.1. In a battle of embattled quarterbacks, Denard Robinson will come out on top. There may not be two quarterbacks that have faced as much criticism as Denard Robinson and Taylor Martinez of the past couple of seasons.  Robinson was thought to be a Heisman candidate heading into this season, well after the Alabama debacle to start the season those hopes quickly faded for Denard. While Robinson has been an amazing playmaker, his passing skills have left much to be desired.  This lack of a passing game may be the single reason why the Wolverines have not produced on offense like expected.  Martinez on the other hand had a tremendous freshman season and since then has been very up and down.  It is Martinez inaccuracy and inconsistency that has lead Nebraska to basically be a non factor on the offensive side of the ball for the past couple of seasons.2. The Wolverines defense will hold a slight edge over Nebraska's Black Shirts. The Cornhuskers defense, better known as the Black Shirts, has been the cornerstone for Nebraska throughout history.  While this year's version of the Black Shirts may be good, they are not as good as the Black Shirts of the past.  The Wolverines' defense has taken a step back in the front seven, but the defensive back field of Michigan has been outstanding as of late.  This should be a defensive battle Saturday night, but the Michigan defensive backfield will be the difference in this ball game.3. Fitz Toussaint will have a breakout game.Toussaint was poised to have a big year for the Wolverines, but thus far has been a dissapointment.  Toussaint's problems stem back to an offseason DUI arrest that lead to his suspension.  It was this time missed that included missing the season opener versus Alabama that slowed Fitz down.  Against Michigan State last weekend Toussaint began to really show some of that star ability he possesses.  Look for Toussaint to continue that development with a big game versus the Cornhuskers.
