10:50 – It’s a little bit chilly this morning at the Big House. It should warm up a bit though as the day goes on.

11:30 – Michigan is going pink today with the gloves and wrist bands.

11:31 – Blake Countess is warming up with the 1st team defense, it looks like today could be the first of many starts in his career.

11:53 – They just finished playing the Brady Hoke inspired “This is Michigan” clip on the jumbo tron and the crowd went crazy.

11:59 – The rocketman just flew down from one of the towers to midfield in honor of the all Michigan crew on Apollo 15. A very impressive display.

12:22 – Danny was Hoping that there was some more magic left in Justin Siller on a 3rd down and 5 play. Siller took the snap and was tackled for a 3 yard loss.

12:28 – Denard Robinson throws his 11th interception of the season on a pass into tight double coverage.

12:30 – Following the interception, Michigan’s defense rises to the occasion and forces a three and out. Craig Roh blew up the 3rd down and 2 play to force the punt.

12:35 – A real ho-hum 1st quarter ends with Robinson getting nailed for an 8 yard loss, setting up a 3rd down and 20 to open the 2nd quarter.

12:40 – The 2nd quarter opens with a bang on a 49 yard Robinson to Roy Roundtree connection. One play later Devin Gardner throws a punt pass that is intercepted at the Purdue 5 yard line. 2 picks by Michigan QBs are the only thing that has really slowed the offense. The turnovers have to stop.

12:44 – On the next play, Mike Martin implodes the middle of Purdue’s line and sacks Terbush for a safety. That is the first Michigan safety since 2003 against Houston.

12:47 – While running a QB sweep, Robinson slips and falls to the field turf for the second time in the game.

12:50 – Brendan Gibbons boots a 37 yard field goal and looks good doing it. He gets congratulated by just about every coach on the team as he returned to the sideline. This is a kid who has persevered through some tough times (last season) and in the words of Michigan Basketball assistant coach Bacari Alexander has Grown Blue.

12:53 – Jake Ryan gets loose in the Purdue backfield, whiffs on the sack attempt and snags the facemask of Robert Mavre in the process.

12:58 – The Michigan Defense continues their red zone mastery with a Courtney Avery interception at the U-M 16 yard line.

1:05 – Jeremy Gallon makes a tremendous play on the ball to haul in a 42 yard completion from Robinson. One play later Fitzgerald Toussaint blasts in for a TD and nearly gets his head ripped off by Albert Evans in the process. Fitz is up to 74 yards on 8 carries.

1:12 – On a 3rd down and 12 play, Mike Martin corrals Mavre for his second sack of the game

1:15 – Gardner’s first play since the interception is a toss to Vincent Smith.

1:23 – Brendan Gibbons converts a 22 yard FG as time expires on the first half.
